Het grondwettelijk hof heeft pas op 5 mei 2011 Ouattara officieel als winnaar van de verkiezingen uitgeroepen en zo hun eerste beslissing van begin december 2010 veranderd.
Dit bevestigt de inhoud van mijn vorige artikels over Ivoorkust.
Frankrijk en de VN zeggen al sinds november dat Ouattara de verkiezingen gewonnen had wat een leugen was die ook door de internationale media overgenomen is.
Gezien ze de details daarover verzwegen hebben namelijk dat er een betwisting was en ook het belangrijke feit dat begin december het grondwettelijk hof de overwinning aan Gbabo gegeven had, vermoed ik dat de verandering van de beslissing van het hoofd van het grondwettelijk hof er pas gekomen is nadat hij bezweken is onder de zware druk van de oude koloniale macht en de VN.
Ouattara is de kandidaat die gesteund is door Frankrijk omdat hij de belangen van Frankrijk en het IMF verdedigt zoals ik beschreven heb in een vorig artikel.
Ivoorkust is een land opgedeeld in een moslim noorden en een christelijk zuiden en door Ouattara als president te benoemen, ondanks de bestwiste verkiezingsresultaten, blijft er een recept voor onstabiliteit.
Het internationaal strafhof moet de mogelijke oorlogsmisdaden onderzoeken van alle bewapende partijen, namelijk ook de Franse en de VN troepen.. Er zijn berichten dat de Fransen met hun luchtbombardementen rond het presidentiële paleis disproportioneel geweld gebruikt hebben en ook veel burgers daardoor gedood hebben.

Head of the Ivory Coast Constitutional Council Paul Yao N’Dre
The Constitutional Council in the Ivory Coast has ratified the results of the presidential election, declaring Alassane Ouattara as the country’s new president.
The head of the council, Paul Yao N’Dre, reversed his original decision, recognizing Ouattara as the winner on Thursday, The Associated Press reported.
“The constitutional council proclaims Alassane Ouattara president of the Republic of Ivory Coast,” N’Dre said.
The announcement comes following the ousting of former President Laurent Gbagbo.
Gbagbo is currently under house arrest after being removed militarily in April and is awaiting trial for alleged crimes during the country’s turmoil.
The Constitutional Council had originally declared more than half a million votes in Ouattara strongholds as invalid after the November 2010 elections. This was while the results were considered credible by the United Nations, the African Union, the US and the European Union.
Gbagbo’s refusal to step down sparked a four-month crisis. The impasse led to the death of thousands of people and displacement of more than a million others.
Troops loyal to Ivory Coast President Ouattara have now gained control of a northern suburb of the commercial capital, Abidjan — where die-hard militias loyal to former President Gbagbo had been resisting. The latest fighting between the supporters of the two sides has reportedly left dozens of people dead.
The country is expected to resume cocoa exports on May 7, after freezing trade during the crisis.
