Leidende jongeren uit de klimaatbeweging krijgen vandaag managementcursussen aangeboden door Al Gore in samenwerking met Coca-Cola.
Door zich in hun eisen te fixeren op hernieuwbare energie en de klimaatakkoorden van Parijs, marsjeren deze jongeren precies in het gareel van het grootkapitaal. Zij worden bewust verhinderd om het allesvernietigende Militair-Industrieel-Complex, de NATO en het kapitalisme in vraag te stellen.
Gecorrumpeerde transnationale NGO’s als WWF, Greenpeace en ook Oxfam zitten samen met het grootkapitaal aan tafel. Geen wonder, want er blijkt een gouden draaideur te bestaan tussen de haute finance en de top van deze transnationale NGO’s. Ons kent ons, bijgevolg. De bedoeling is niet van het klimaat te redden. Wel bekijken ze hoe de resterende stukken ongerepte natuur zo snel mogelijk kunnen omgezet worden in monetiseerbare ‘assets’. Payment for Ecoservices (PES) is het nieuwe mantra.
De ‘Green New Deal‘ is een doos van Pandora die PES als doel heeft en de ‘opportuniteit’ wil gebruiken om een bom publieke gelden los te weken teneinde het kapitalistische systeem een nooit geziene financiële injectie te geven.
Hoe het kapitalisme de klimaatzaak opklopt (“the house is on fire“, dixit ook Greta Thunberg) om uiteindelijk zijn slag thuis te halen, lijkt sterk op wat Naomi Klein beschreven heeft in “The Shock Doctrine”.
Deze artikelen zouden bij hoogdringendheid verplichte lectuur moeten worden in de middelbare scholen in het kader van een spoedcursus ‘geopolitiek’ en ‘strategieën van het kapitalisme’ voor alle jongeren die aan de klimaatmarsen deelnemen.
Citaat uit deel 4: “The sycophantic NGOs – in servitude, indeed on the very same team as their corporate benefactors, created a literal, albeit virtual firestorm (encapsulated in the mantra “our house is on fire”) – in order to instigate a “climate revolution”. The collective energy of the west stemming from a growing societal discontent, is being captured and utilized – transcending into a new weapon of choice that will aid the further colonization of the Global South. A climate revolution in name only, this said emergency, has nothing to do with the protection of our Earth – or climate – and never will. Rather, it has everything to do with saving, protecting and expanding the capitalist economy – at the expense of our already decimated planet. And nothing more than that. This oncoming new onslaught of environmental devastation and plunder – in the name of climate revolution – will make all of modern man’s historical violence against the nature, up to this point – seem like childish prattle.
Yet none of this should come as a surprise. As the oligarchs financed, shaped and largely managed the climate movement – it’s only natural that they alone benefit from it. The power-elites repackaged our oppression as revolution and sold it back to us. By exploiting the innocent youth, which in turn exploited our emotions and fears as a collective populace, we devoured it. And soon, young Greta, and all the youth they have exploited, will be thrown under the bus. It’s all par for the course under capitalism.“
