1. We beginnen met topacteur Mister Johnny Depp. Bekend van o.a. Edward Scissorhands, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Rum Diary,… Johnny zegt dit over cannabis:“I’m not a great pothead or anything like that… but weed is much,
much less dangerous than alcohol.”
2. Tweede in het lijstje is Miss Sarah Palin, Amerikaans politicus, commentator en auteur. Nou ook weer niet echt een loser te noemen toch? Ze zegt dit over haar ervaring met wiet: “I can’t claim a Bill Clinton and say that I never inhaled.”
Nr 3 in het lijstje,
dat overigens in willekeurige volgorde staat, is hunk Matt Damon, Amerikaans acteur en filmmaker, geboren in
1970. Hij speelde al een rol in een impressionant aantal films. Ook niet echt iemand met een zittend gat dus… De eerste keer dat hij cannabis rookte was thuis samen met zijn moeder en stiefvader.

Nr 4, Amerikaans actrice Susan Sarandon, Academy Award winnares en bekend om haar sociaal en politiek activisme. “Cocaine didn’t interest me. Not at all. I’m way way back in the early pot…”

5.De charismatische Morgan Freeman siert de vijfde plaats. “I have fibromyalgia pain in this arm and the only thing that offers any relief is marijuana.”
Morgan lijdt aan fibromyalgie en het enige wat hem verlichting geeft is cannabis, vertelt hij een journalist.
“I enjoy it once in a while. There is nothing wrong with that. Everything in moderation. I wouldn’t call myself a pot-head.”
De charmante en felbegeerde actrice Jennifer Aniston staat op nr 6. Ze is vooral
bekend
van haar rol bij de serie Friends.

eigen zeggen veel wiet tijdens zijn relatie met Aniston maar zijn huidige vrouw Angelina Jolie heeft het liever niet. Jolie geeft ook toe zelf al wiet gerookt te hebben maar vindt het effect niks voor haar. Bradd: “I was hiding out from the celebrity thing, I was smoking way too much [marijuana].”

8… Lady Gaga, zangeres, singer-songwriter en actrice, geeft toe vaak muziek te maken wanneer ze onder invloed van cannabis vertoeft: “I smoke a lot of pot when I write music.”
9. Michael Bloomberg, burgemeester van New York op de vraag of hij al cannabis gerookt heeft: “You bet I did. And I enjoyed it.’’
En op 10, wie kent hem niet? George Clooney! Wordt regelmatig gespot in een lokaal cannabiscafé.
“The owner of a local cannabis café told reporters George Clooney was no stranger there.”
