After two days of camping and a night in a slightly dodgy motel in Macedonia, we treated ourselves to some Greek sunshine and a lunch at the beach close to Kevala. We were the only customers and ate for 11 Euros a wonderful meal. However, being German is right now not easy in Greece. As soon as I said, where I was from the waiter said “Merkel, not good”…I know, I said and decided to say from then on that I come from Belgium. But in any case, we received the best of Greek hospitality and we were sent off with a big smile on our way to Istanbul.
