Met Afro C in Bredene en Antilliaanse Feesten in Hoogstraten verplaats het Belgisch wereldmuziekepicentrum zich dit weekend naar de uiteinden van ons landje. Afro C brengt ondermeer Imperial Tiger Orchestra, Black Flower en Kel Assouf naar de kust en Antilliaanse Feesten is een jaarlijks Latinodansfeest aan de Nederlandse grens. Verder kondigt Radio Mukambo ook Brussels Summer Festival aan, eerder pop/rock/electro maar toch ook met wat lokaal talent zoals de mestizoband Buenas Ondas.

Het allereerste Ierse afrobeatorkest Colours Afrobeat Foundation levert de cd van de week en we luisteren naar twee heerlijke tracks van de compilatie ‘Dis Is Good For You – Tropical Grooves and Afrofunk International’.
